Welcome to the Five Mushrooms Food Wiki

This wiki has been created as a branch from Wikipedia to address concerns that many of the food and cooking related pages in Wikipedia are either being edited by "big food" propaganda departments, or are simply not written to reflect the needs of a culinary oriented audience.

Because this is a branch, each new entry will be copied from Wikipedia and then edited to suit our culinary audience. Some articles will be fine as they are, and others will need extensive rewriting.

We are allowed to do this because this wiki is released under the same GNU Free Documentation License as Wikipedia. As with all wikis, please remember that there is no editorial board and you should treat all the information here with as many grains of salt as you wish.
